Call of Duty Advanced Warfare renews the saga with exo-suits, weightless jumps and Kevin Spacey as a charismatic antagonist. Solid solo, dynamic multiplayer. A CoD that takes welcome risks.
Activision first-person shooter set in a militarised future dominated by a private corporation. Published by Activision, released in Europe in November 2014. Motorised exoskeleton with jumps and dodges, near-future weapons, scripted solo campaign and online multiplayer. European version.
Is Call of Duty - Advanced Warfare still worth playing in 2026?
A futuristic entry in Activision's saga developed by Sledgehammer, Call of Duty - Advanced Warfare propels the military FPS into a near future of exoskeletons, boosted jumps and high-tech gadgets, with a cinematic campaign carried by a digitised Kevin Spacey. The verticality of the gameplay, the spectacular pace and the snappy multiplayer energise the formula. The declining servers and a certain structural classicism weigh on it. A good FPS for fans of futuristic military action and snappy shooting in solo or online.
